As Resilience Productions, our mission is to educate and engage our audience regarding the numerous unknown and uncelebrated contributions of African Americans, women and other undervalued populations in Indiana’s- and ultimately our nation’s history.
Between 2023 and 2024, over 10,000 books were banned across the United States—many of them exploring complex social, emotional, and psychological themes that encourage critical thinking and deepen our understanding of the human condition.
These censorship efforts reflect a broader attempt to silence non-traditional perspectives and discourage the examination of long-standing societal norms.
In this climate, Resilience Productions has never been more essential. We exist to amplify underrepresented voices and ignite honest, thought-provoking conversations. Through live performance art, we bring stories that challenge the status quo to the stage, inspire change, and educate through empathy. Our commitment is to bold, authentic storytelling that refuses to be silenced—a mission at the heart of everything we do.
